Got drafted by the same old team
General Greco & Grimes, I'm gonna scream
These guys are really nuts
I hope I don't puke my guts
Got a new Sargent Called Big "O"
I didn't say he looked liked Bozo
New recruits joined the squad
Fed them sand, played real hard
Seen and old friend called Mike T
Floats like a butterfly, but stings like a bee
The general pondered the drafting list
Would only settle for the best
Took Sean on a dare
What's up with his hair?
Michael B was underrated
Took him early, he's an alligator
Lew was just our style
Fearless on the field, and he always smiled
TJO took his place behind the plate
Blessed himself, when Russell was his fate
Russ didn't care he threw from 53
The batters cried, and I saw one pee
Robey still eats glass and nails
He's a winner, we can't fail
Brought back a recruit named Dominic
Smashed teams hopes with his stick
Mendez was a guy who just couldn't sit
Played every game, he got his hit
When Bobby took a bat in his hand
Everyone ran for the stands
CJ gave you a cold hard stare
It's OK... His Dad forgot to cut his hair
Ford was this year's sleeper
I think he'll be a keeper
The season started kinda slow
Till we finally met our foe
Gave Albert his only loss
I think he said, we are boss
Mario thought his hit was a homer
NO WAY JACK, YOU"RE OUT AT HOMEA
Someone thought to bring their pup
Gotta get this sand outta my cup
I think the field was getting bigger
Big "O" told me that I was shrinkin
We're gonna see a Yankee Game
If Greco thinks I'm wearing the Red Sox shirt... HE'S INSANE
I can't believe I had so much fun
Never tell and ump that he's dumb
In case I forgot to tell you Mom & Dad
Thank you for the great time I had
Hope to see ya all next year
Now I need a nice cold...
