From I-78 West/Garden State
Parkway North:
- Coming North on GSP. At the I-78 Toll Booth, keep to the
sharp right. The exit is immediately to the right after the Toll Booth.
- You need to get to the other side of I-78. Do this by
following I-78 East to Exit 54, Hillside/Irvington. Watch for the I-78 West signs, follow
them through the intersection.
- Once back on I-78 West, follow the signs to Exit 50,
Union/Millburn.
- Take Exit 50B, Springfield/Maplewood. One sign says 50B,
Millburn.
- This exits at Vaux Hall Road. Follow Vaux Hall to the
right, through one light.
- Turning Right onto Springfield Avenue at the 2nd light.
- Proceed on Springfield Ave to the 9th light at Boyden Ave.
Turn left onto Boyden Avenue.
- Regrettably, this is a complex corner. DO NOT TURN ON THE
IMMEDIATE LEFT, BOYDEN PARKWAY! Boyden Ave. is the left turn with the red lane markers.
- Proceed on Boyden Ave to the next light.
- Stay in the right land at this corner and proceed straight
through onto Orchard Road (past Nat’s Deli on the corner).
Go 2 1/2 blocls on Orchard.
- You will see the entrance to Borden Park on your left.
If you come to a stop sign, you have gone too far!
- Park on the street.
